Roosevelt, in Egypt, after the conferences, with his Secretaries of State, in February 1945.Franklin Delano Roosevelt, was an American statesman, thirty-second president of the United States, born on January 30th, 1882 in Hyde Park (State of New York) and died April 12th, 1945, in Warm Springs (State of Georgia).Roosevelt was one of the main World War II protagonists and broke with the traditional isolationism of his country. Before the United States went to war, he launched the Lend-Lease program to provide the allied forces with war equipment. After the attack on Pearl Harbor, he fully assumed his duties as Commander in Chief of the American army and largely prepared the victory of the Allies. He held a leading role in the transformation of the world at the end of the conflict, and especially inspired the United Nations creation. Criticized by some, admired by others, he left a strong trace in the history of his country and in the history of the world. Tracked shipping.
